Job Summary:
Responsible for the installation, maintenance, and user training on approved client software, including Odyssey, Dayforce, Radley, Concur, O365, and 4D.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage security access profiles and login IDs based on user manager authorizations.
- Provide training for new employees on the company's IT systems.
- Troubleshoot and resolve system, software, or user issues.
- Conduct training sessions for users on new systems and software updates.
- Develop and maintain user documentation for system software.
- Communicate with customers to meet specific EDI and barcode label requirements.
- Create customized user training programs.
- Design, test, and maintain queries and reports using tools such as Data Explorer Intelligent Views, Crystal Reports, Excel, and other reporting platforms.
- Offer backup support for daily operations as needed.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and leadership abilities.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Capable of managing and organizing multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously.
- Proficient in training users with varying levels of technical expertise.
Work Environment:
The Application Specialist will primarily work in an office setting, but will occasionally visit the plant. Must be able to comply with plant conditions.
Physical Demands:
- Ability to remain stationary for extended periods (approximately 90% of the time).
- Ability to move around the office and occasionally the plant.
- Frequent use of a computer and office equipment such as calculators, copiers, and printers.
- Must be able to communicate effectively with employees and others in person or via phone.
